Pre conception Obstetrics was very well studied and described in Ayurveda Classical Texts. It has mentioned various factors affecting the pregnancy care and outcome. Acharya Charaka has mentioned that psychological disturbances can be a one of the reasons for congenital anomalies of foetus. To create positive pregnancy atmosphere, Ayurveda and Yoga is playing significant role. 

This book also elaborates Polycystic Ovarian Disorder (PCOD) found in young adolescent girls across the globe and a thought about the Ayurveda Treatment in PCOD.  Satvavjay Chikitsa, treatment for maintaining the mental health also has a significance during PCOD management.

Dr. Sushil Deshmukh completed his BAMS in 2000 and MS (Masters in Surgery) in Prasuti Striroga in 2003. He has 17 years of clinical experience in the field of Ayurveda, Panchakarma and Prasuti Striroga. At the same time, he is also working as a Quality Manager and Hospital Administrator at MAM's Sane Guruji Arogya Kendra. He is also Internal Auditor for ISO 2015, AYUSH Assessor and External Assessor for National Health Systems Resource Centre (Technical Support Institute with National Health Mission under Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, GOI). He was one of the core team members for designing, executing and implementing MAM's Centre of Excellence project supported by Ministry of AYUSH, GOI. He is also corporate wellness speaker for Ayurveda and Panchakarma. He is heading MAM's Centre of Excellence for Mother and Child Hospital as a CEO.
