New Delhi World Book Fair 2024 witnessed another book launch by Walnut Publication. We organized the book launch of ‘Proud to Be a Woman’ by Anamika Kamboj. The book talks about the important yet still a tabooed topic, menstruation and how puberty affects adolescents. Anamika Kamboj talked about how her aim is to make sure that this book reaches every adolescent irrespective of its sales. According to her, menstruation is believed to be looked down upon rather she wishes that we take pride in becoming woman, and hence the title, ‘Proud to be a Woman’. She unveiled the book with her guests.
Walnut also presented Anamika with Eminenza Certificate to thank her for writing on such an important topic and being the force of change. Book signing event took place shortly after the official book launch of ‘Proud to Be a Woman.’
The signed books were then kept on shelf for readers to have an opportunity to grab the signed copies. Walnut also presented the author and guests with goodies to create more sweet memories of this eventful day.
