Ms. Ranu Kisku is presently working as Assistant Professor of Botany in Model Degree College, Nuapada, under Department of Higher Education, Govt. Of Odisha. She obtained her Post Graduate degree in Botany from Utkal University, Bhubaneswar in 2013 and possesses qualification of CSIR-NET in Life Science to her credit. She started her career as a Lecturer in Botany in 2014 at Govt. Womens' College, Sambalpur, Odisha and today she possesses more than 8 years of rich teaching experience at the Under Graduate level. Her area of interest and enthusiasm towards understanding of the mother nature and inter-dependency between planet and people can be well-understood from her knowledge and scholastic ability in the area of medicinal plants. She has a vast experience of personal research involving medicinal plants and their proper usage which she has presented through this book for greater benefit of students and the world at large.
