Dr. Shashank Misra hails from a small-town Meerut situated in the Northern India. Currently, he is engaged in teaching, post doctoral research as well as the Principal of Dewan Law College, Meerut. Unlike most people, he was attracted to nature and to the rights of the people living in the natural environment since his childhood. To help with this issue, he completed a five-year doctorate degree in the same subject. He touched many milestones before getting a chance to pen down this book. The author has to his credit long years of research into the burning economic issues of the tribal areas. He is a prolific writer of research-based articles which have a great value in law field.
