Dr. Sowmya M A holds an M.A. in English and was recently awarded her Ph.D. by the well-recognised Presidency University. She has over 13 years of experience in academia, teaching English Language and Literature at Acharya Institute of Graduate Studies, Bengaluru. She has also served as an NCC Officer (Lt. Sowmya) and conducted several camps at the national and state levels for NCC cadets and other students. She is the recipient of three commendations, including the Chief Minister’s Commendation for 2021–22 and the DG NCC Commendation for 2022–23, in recognition of her exemplary service and contribution to the NCC. She is also an experienced professional in career guidance and counselling, with a special focus on motivating students, developing positive attitudes, and fostering a growth-oriented mindset.
