Prof. Rahul Tiwari is presently working at the Department of Architecture and Planning, Maulana Azad National Institute of Technology (MANIT), Bhopal which is an Institute of National Importance established by Ministry of Education, Government of India vide NIT Act. He has been working in the field of Transportation for over 15 years. He has diverse research and consulting experience in Transportation Planning, Traffic Engineering, Road Safety and Public Transportation. Prof. Rahul Tiwari received B. Arch from Maulana Azad National Institute of Technology (MANIT), Bhopal and M. Tech Transportation from Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Madras along with PhD from School of Planning and Architecture (SPA), Bhopal. He is a Fellow of the Urban Habitat Forum (UHF), Ministry of Urban Development, Government of India. Prof. Rahul Tiwari is a registered Professional Architect under Council of Architecture, India. He also played an instrumental role in drafting of Parking Policy, Transit Oriented Development Policy, Real Estate Policy and Advertisement Policy for the State of Madhya Pradesh. He is also a LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) Professional. He is a certified Trainer for Urban Transport by Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs (MoHUA), Government of India and has been selected as a Leader in Urban Transport Planning (LUTP) by the World Bank.
