Dr Diana Ethel Amonge has been working in the North East Regional Centre of GBPNIHE since 2018 as a project coordinator of the HI-LIFE - India. She completed her Masters in Forestry in 2011 and PhD in Wildlife Sciences in 2018 from NERIST, Nirjuli. Her field of work is primarily focused on the sustainable livelihood upliftment of villagers residing near the periphery of Namdapha National Park. She has assessed the threatened and endemic birds of Namdapha National Park. She also creates awareness among the local communities to conserve and protect the significant flora and fauna dwelling inside the park.
