Dr. Mahesh Prasad Mohanta (Born 25th October 1970) is a practicing pediatrician. He passed his MBBS (1994) and MD Pediatrics (1998) from SCB Medical College, Cuttack. After his degree he served under Odisha state health service and then joined NTPC Hospital for 5 years. He has been in private practice since 2006 and established his own clinic Nua Sakala and Naba Diganta primary care hospital at Keonjhar, Odisha. He is an active member of Indian Medical Association and Indian Academy of Pediatrics. His focus area is primary care and general pediatrics.
He loves to write and publish. He has many articles in various medical journals and contributed a chapter to the IAP-IYCF book, "Essentials of Maternal, Infant, Young Child and Adolescent Nutrition".
