Born on December 31, 1960, in the village of Baradhi in the Rohtas district of Bihar, Sushil Kumar Srivastava exemplifies perseverance, discipline, and a deep commitment to duty. He received his early education at Karwarigahiya School in Patna and completed his high school studies at High School Chiraiyatand, Patna. He later obtained his bachelor’s degree from the College of Commerce, affiliated with Magadh University, and pursued postgraduate studies at Patna University. Mr. Srivastava joined the State Bank of India as an Assistant and served the institution with dedication for nearly 39 years, ultimately retiring as Chief Manager on December 31, 2020. Alongside his professional career, he nurtured a strong passion for literature and poetry. Traveling and undertaking pilgrimages have been an important part of his life; notably, his Char Dham pilgrimage to Uttarakhand in 2023 enriched his spiritual perspective, an experience that is vividly reflected in his writing.
