Dr. Arun Kumar is an Assistant Professor of Law at Maharishi Law School, Maharishi University of Information Technology, Noida. He is the author of the books Dowry Deaths: The Burning Issue (2022), Law and Research Methodology (2023), The Shifting Sands of Law (2023), and Legal Evolutions: Adapting to Contemporary Challenges (2024) and From Crime Scene to Courtroom: A Comprehensive Guide to Criminal Law Practice” Published in (2025).

In addition, he has published more than 30 research papers, articles, and book chapters in edited volumes and UGC CARE and peer-reviewed journals. He has presented papers at several national and international seminars and conferences. He also serves as an active reviewer for many international journals and is a member of editorial boards of reputed journals.

He obtained his B.A. LL.B. and LL.M. (Criminal Law) degrees from CCS University, Meerut and Maharishi University of Information Technology, Noida, respectively. He has obtained the Ph.D. from Motherhood University, Roorkee.

He has substantial academic and research experience in Criminal Law and Family Law. His areas of interest include Human Rights and Child Rights.
