Dr. Chandan Jyoti Saikia is a well-known pathologist of Assam and presently working as Assistant Professor; Department of Pathology, Fakhruddin Ali Ahmed Medical College, Barpeta, Assam. He has fifteen national and international publications along with author of one medical book named “Essentials of Practical Pathology”. His fields of interest are GI Pathology, Gynec Pathology, Breast Pathology and Head & Neck Pathology. He is an active member on social media for academics. He had completed his MBBS degree from Assam Medical College, Dibrugarh in the year 2006 and MD Pathology degree from Gauhati Medical College, Guwahati in the year 2012. He has started his academic career as Demonstrator in the Department of Pathology; Gauhati Medical College, Guwahati in the year 2013. In the year 2018; he had transferred to Fakruddin Ali Ahmed Medical College, Barpeta, Assam as Assistant Professor.
