Vasu Mehta has completed his BSc. (HONS) Agriculture from CCS Haryana Agricultural University, Hisar (HR) in 2016 and MSc (Ag.) Entomology from CSK Himachal Pradesh Agricultural University, Palampur (HP) in 2018. Presently, he is about to complete his Ph.D. in Entomology from CSK Himachal Pradesh Agricultural University, Palampur (HP). He has a strong academic and research background and has published a total of 13 original research articles, 3 short communications in renowned national and international journals, 3 book chapters, 2 review papers and 12 popular articles. He has received Best Article Award, Best Research Scholar Award and Best M.Sc. Thesis Award and also cleared ICAR-NET in Agricultural Entomology. He has expertise in storage entomology, use of botanicals in IPM etc. He has attended 6 national and 4 international conferences, workshops and national and international seminars so far and has also served as University President-cum-Coordinator of AIASA for the year 2021.
