Dr Manju Pandey’s alma mater was Ursuline Convent, Ranchi after which studied in the prestigious St. Xaviers College, Ranchi and graduated in BA (Hons) in English in 1983 and Masters in English from Ranch University, Jharkhand in 1986. She was appointed Lecturer in 1989 and she took up teaching as a passion. To enhance her skills, she did research on a critic whom she admired for long, with a PhD from Ranchi University in 1995 on the topic “F R Leavis’s Points of View in Criticism”. During the initial part of her career she improved her teaching skills by attending a number of professional courses, and taking part in Seminars, presenting papers, writing articles etc.
