Mr. Barakatali Halakeri completed post graduate degree in M.Sc. (Physics) from Kuvempu University, Shimoga and M.Ed. from Regional Institute of Education (RIE) Mysore, University of Mysore, Mysore. At present Serving as Guest Faculty in the Department of Education, Anjuman Arts, Science, Commerce College and PG Studies Dharwad since four years. Perceiving the Ph.D. Degree under the guidance of Dr. (Smt). Manjula. P. Rao., HOD of Education from Regional Institute of Education (RIE) Mysore, University of Mysore. Served as Assistant teacher in science as well as academic coordinator at Sri Vidyaniketan Public School, (CBSE) Shriramnagar, Gangavati Tq, Koppal Dist for three years. Attended and presented more than 25 papers in national and international conferences as well as in workshops. Produced research works in the area of teaching learning process, Constructivism, Action Research at school and college levels. Also cleared K-SET for lectureship in education in the year 2012, UGC-NET for lectureship in education in the year 2016, K-TET (Karnataka Teachers Eligibility Test) in the year 2015 and CTET (Central Teachers Eligibility Test) conducted by CBSE board in the year 2016. Having seven years of experience in teaching at various levels, I am presenting a book entitles as “Progressive Thoughts of Contemporary Education”.
