Dr. Vu Van Thoai is a doctorate in Management from Arihant Institute of Management and Advance Studies , Pune in the year 2010. He later on served as Principal of Ha Noi College College of Technology and Business from 2011 to 2015 and in order to fulfil his childhood dream of helping the poor farmers of Vietnam through sustainable agricultural development, he formed Vietnam Sandalwood Group in 2016. His passion for sandalwood made him to study the plant systematically and he formed Institute of Sandalwood and Rare Flora (ISAF) under Vietnam Sandalwood Group. As CEO of Vietnam Sandalwood Group Dr Thoai has been actively involved in development of Sandalwood in Vietnam and has an ambitious plan of having over 5000 acres of Sandalwood plantations in collaboration with farmers and Government of Vietnam.
