Prof. V. Nirmala, with a rich academic background spanning nearly three decades in teaching and research, is currently serving as a Professor in the Department of English Language & Literature at Sri Padmavati Mahila Visvavidyalayam (SPMVV, Women’s University), Tirupati, Andhra Pradesh, India. Her areas of research include women’s writings in English and regional languages, Muslim minority writings, Dalit literature, translation studies, film studies, and critical theories. She has received eleven awards from various organizations, including the University Research Awards from SPMVV. She has also completed two research projects under RUSA and PM-USHA.
