The author is in the field of teacher education for 26 years. She has expertise in science and mathematics education. She is Ph.D in mathematics education in the area of mathematical backwardness. She has presented papers on mathematics education in conferences held by Mathematics Teachers Association and The Association of Mathematics Teachers of India. Apart from this, the author has expertise in science education,environment education. She is currently guiding 6 Ph.D scholars under Goa University.
