The author completed her studies from Department of Clothing & Textiles, G. B. Pant University of Agriculture & Technology, Pantnagar (U.K.) in 2010. She has vast research experience on natural/herbal dyes, finishes, traditional clothing & textiles and effect of social change process on them. Currently she is Scientist-Community Science at KVK-II, Sitapur (U.P.) closely associated and working with rural girls & farmwomen by utilizing their Interests & Skills to earn their economic freedom and climb upward the social ladder.
