Dr. Bidhan Chandra Samanta serves as Associate Professor and Head of the Department of Chemistry at Mugberia Gangadhar Mahavidyalaya. He earned his PhD in 2008 following his research work at IIT Kharagpur. His research interests cover polymers, metal complexes, antibacterial activity, and DNA/BSA interactions. Dr. Samanta has published over 60 research papers and authored 13 books. He has guided several research scholars and has been honored with distinguished state and national awards for his contributions to science.
