Pavani Sree earned her Master’s Degree in sociology from the University of Hyderabad and is currently pursuing a sociology PhD in disability studies. Having spent much of her adult life studying the struggles of the middle class and the inequalities facing the disabled, she often finds herself eager to throw herself into new battles. She has a limp but hasn’t once allowed it to slow her down. Rather than run with her legs, Pavani sprints toward a bright future with her sharp mind and with a fierce work ethic. Despite mostly being limited to academic papers in the past, she has recently rediscovered a love of poetry and is determined to use it to spread positive messages throughout her home country of India.
