Dr. Purushotham, B.V.Sc & A.H, M.V.Sc, Ph.D, FIAVA of 33 years of experience out of which 11 years in poultry and Dairy industry and 22 years in Teaching, Research and Extension in P.V. Narsimha Rao Telangana Veterinary University. He has published several research articles in journals of National and International repute. He has guided nearly 22 students including both M.VSc & Ph.D in the Department of Veterinary Anatomy. He worked as Academic Officer, Warden, NSS officer and Vigilance Officer to PVNR TVU, Telangana state.

Dr. Purushotham is recipient of National Merit Scholarship, Dr.G. Rajeswar Rao Memorial Award, GAAS Gold medal, Most coveted Chancellor’s Gold Medal and many more certifications.
