Dr. Ashok Kumar Devarasetti, B.V.Sc & A.H, M.VSc, Ph.D., is Senior Assistant Professor & University Head, Department of Veterinary Biochemistry, College of Veterinary Science, Mamnoor, Warangal, PV Narsimha Rao Telangana Veterinary University, Hyderabad, Telangana State. He has 13 years of Teaching for UG and PG, Research and Extension experience to his credit. He has delivered more than 10 talks in A.I.R (All India Radio, Kadapa station, Govt. of India) and also in T.V Live telecast (Doordarshan – Yadgiri, Govt. of India) to educated the livestock farmers. He has been the Principal Investigator and Co-Investigator of 06 externally funded projects. He held several positions like Officer In-charge Student Activities, NSS Program Officer, Additional Warden, Assistant Academic Officer, Officer In-charge Library Science, In-charge for Placement cell & Central Instrumentation Facility and actively involved in many more committees.

Dr. A.K. Devarasetti, created Course e-Content for Chemistry of Animal Cell for Post graduate students and submitted to ICAR, Govt. of India and he published a chapter ‘Development and Functions of Neuro-Muscular Junctions (NMJS)’ in Conceptual framework Entwining Translational Anatomy and Veterinary Clinical Sciences as a co-author. Dr. Ashok, is a Associate Editor and member of the editorial boards and reviewer of six journals including both National and International journals. Dr. A.K. Devarasetti, is recipient of the ‘Best Faculty Award’ in 2nd International Scientists Awards on Engineering, Science and Medicine – 2019, ‘Best Paper Award’ in National Seminar of SVVBI – 2020 and ‘Reviewer Excellence Award’ from Asian Journal of Dairy and Food Research, twice in 2020 & 2021.
