Dr. Noor Mubasheer C.A is an Associate Professor and HOD of Postgraduate Studies and Research in Social Work, St. Philomena's College (Autonomous) Mysore, Karnataka, India. She persuaded her Master Degree of Social Work in 1998 from University of Mysore. She has a doctorate in social work from the University of Mysore. She has attended more than 30 conferences/ seminars, 10 Workshops to present the research papers. Almost twenty research articles are published in International and National journals and completed UGC minor research project. She organized 09 conference/ workshops at the National and International level. She is the resource person for various colleges, governmental and non- governmental organizations. She is the editor of the book "Women's Mental Health –Today" and the editor of Biannual Philo Multidisciplinary e-Journal. She has authored a book “Social Casework- Theories and Practices” Her area of interest in teaching Social Work, Case Work, Social Work Research, Mental Health, Stress Management etc. She is the Research Coordinator and Unnat Bharat Abhiyan (UBA) Coordinator, (a flagship programme of Central Government) of St. Philomena’s College. Presently she is guiding 6 Ph.D Research Scholars in Social Work.
