Dr. Sanjay Singh is Head and Senior Scientist at Forest Research Centre for Eco-rehabilitation, Prayagraj; He has obtained B.Sc. (University of Allahabad, Prayagraj), M.Sc. (Kumaun University, Nainital) and Ph.D. in Forest Botany from Forest Research Institute Deemed University, Dehradun. Dr. Singh is recipient of UP State Merit Scholarship, World Bank ICFRE research Fellowship, Freezailah Fellowship from International Timber & Trade Organization (ITTO), Indian Forester Prize, Prof. K. K. Nag Foundation Young Scientist Gold Medal and Indira Gandhi Life Time Achievement Award (2015). He has vast experience in the field of tree physiology, molecular biology, biotechnology, and clonal forestry in past 23 years. He has published more than 150 research papers, several technical bulletins/reports and 10 books.
