Dr. Su. Narmatha M.Sc., M.Phil., Ph.D is presently working as an Assistant Professor, Department of Physics at RMK college of Engineering and Technology. She received her M.Sc degree in Physics from Madura College, Madurai and M. Phil degree in Physics from Bharathidasan University, Trichy. She obtained her Doctorate in the field of Crystal Growth from Bharathiar University. She is having a teaching experience of 15 years including 4 years of teaching in Marine Institutions.

She has “Faculty Approval Certificate” from Ministry of Shipping, Road Transport and Highways Department, Government of India. She also has “Training for Trainers and Assessors” from Maritime Foundation.

Her current area of research focuses on Crystal Growth and Nanotechnology. She has published more than 8 papers in National and International journals. Her journal publications are indexed in SCI, WoS, SCOPUS and UGC cited indexed. She has organised and conducted Seminars and Conference. She is also a member of “Indian Association of Crystal Growth”.
