Dr. G. Simi Margarat is a distinguished academician and researcher with over 20 years of experience in higher education. She serves as Professor and Head of the Department of Information Technology at Agni College of Technology, Chennai. Holding a Ph.D. in Computer Science and Engineering, she has extensive expertise in teaching, research, academic administration, curriculum development, and accreditation. Her research interests include Computer Vision, Deep Learning, Cybersecurity, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, and Cloud Computing. Dr. Margarat has published numerous research papers and is dedicated to mentoring students and researchers while advancing innovation in emerging technology domains.
