Born in Kasipur, Kalahandi (Odisha) on April 2, 1962, P.K.V.G. Sastry is an engineer by education and a writer by passion. After earning his B.Sc. (Engineering) from Burla and M.Tech. from IIT Madras, he spent over three decades at Hindustan Aeronautics Limited, retiring as Additional General Manager (Indigenization) in 2020.

His literary journey began with SIRI & API, published during his daughter’s wedding in 2023. Inspired by his granddaughter’s innocence and curiosity, Sastry’s writing reflects on life’s subtle lessons and everyday beauty. His work celebrates the richness of existence—its colours, emotions, and quiet wisdom—with humility and heartfelt wonder.

Now devoted to writing, Sastry continues to explore the small moments that make life truly extraordinary.
