CS Sharad Gawade, B.Com. (Hons.), LL.B., FCS, is a Fellow Member of the Institute of Company Secretaries of India and a practising Company Secretary in Mumbai since 1994. Formerly Assistant Registrar of Companies, Maharashtra, he has over three decades of experience in corporate and banking laws, legal compliance, and regulatory matters. As proprietor of Sharad Gawade & Associates, he advises nationalised and cooperative banks on loan documentation, due diligence, mortgage registration, and statutory compliance. He also represents clients before the NCLT and regulatory authorities. He is the author of Guidance Notes for Bankers, his first book.
