Humera Kasim Parihar is a Mumbai girl who is fond of writing. Books are her friends. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Psychology and a bachelor’s degree in Education and enjoys participating in extracurricular activities. She loves sports and reading books. An introvert by nature, she hardly leaves home and often lives in a world of imagination. Writing helps her stay calm and clear her mind. She is also interested in art and craft. She has created several drawings and craft items. After studying Psychology, she became interested in the lives of marginalized people and their struggles with society. This interest led her to learn more about mental illness and the role society plays in supporting and accepting people with mental health conditions. She wants to spread awareness about mental health. She pursued a B.Ed. to educate marginalized communities. She believes that every child is special and has undertaken various projects aimed at educating children.
