Pramod Padmanabhan is a researcher, naturalist, and educationist. As a scientist at the Salim Ali Centre for Ornithology and Natural History (SACON), Coimbatore, he has spent years exploring the fascinating world of birds, forests, and biodiversity. He has published more than 50 research papers, along with technical reports, books, and popular writings on nature and wildlife. As a science communicator, he has introduced the wonders of nature to thousands of children and nature enthusiasts. He was a recipient of the Fulbright-Nehru Award for Academic and Professional Excellence in 2014. He lives in Coimbatore with his wife, Sudha, and daughter, Meera.
