Rajita Nandyala is an author, storyteller, chef, dancer, motivational speaker, and professor whose imagination soars across cultures and continents. Having lived and worked in India, the UK, the USA, and Canada, she now lovingly calls the world her home. A faculty member at St. Lawrence College in Kingston, Ontario, Rajita blends her passions for food, dance, motivation, creativity, miniatures, and penguins into stories that celebrate courage, imagination, and the beauty of togetherness. Drawing from her rich global experiences, Rajita empowers children, students, and communities to explore the world with imagination, childlike curiosity, teamwork, and courage — with open hearts to people and opportunities. Inspired by her handmade edible penguin creations, she brings these tiny characters to life in tales filled with joy, humour, hope, and love. She is the creator of the Magical South Pole Series — a joyful picture book collection following five adventurous little edible penguins on delightful journeys around the world, celebrating culture, food, art, music, friendship, teamwork, and creativity.
