Dr. M. Saravanan’s work is focused on Development and Industrial Economics, with over a decade of experience across the industry and academia. Previously, he was an Assistant Professor of Economics at MGR College of Arts and Science, Hosur and Assistant Professor of Economics at Vinayaka Missions Law School, Paiyanoor, Chennai, Tamil Nadu. He has obtained Master Degree in Development Economics from Pondicherry University, Puducherry. Subsequently, he completed his M.Phil and Ph.D. Degrees from Gandhigram Rural Institute – Deemed to be University, Gandhigram, Tamil Nadu. He was awarded the Centrally Administrated Doctoral Research Fellowship from ICSSR, New Delhi for doing Ph.D research work at Gandhigram Rural Institute – Deemed to be University, Gandhigram, Tamil Nadu. His publications include a book on Sago and Starch Manufacturing Small and Medium Enterprises in Tamil Nadu. He has presented multiple research papers in various seminars and conferences.
