Dr. H.L. Tiwari earned his B.E., M. Tech and Ph.D. degree in Civil Engg with specialization in Hydraulics and Water Resources Engineering. He has published 193 papers in International Journals/Conferences and more than 150 technical reports are in his credits. One book of Hydraulics and Water Resources is also in his credit. He has vast experience in teaching, research and in the field of entrepreneurship for more than 26 years. During this period, Dr H L Tiwari taught different subjects like Fluid Mechanics theory and lab., Hydrology, Hydraulic structures, Basic Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Hydro Power Engg. etc. at UG and PG level. Dr. Tiwari handled various research/consultancy projects in the field of hydraulics and hydro power. He has guided/guiding 06 PhD students, 38 M.Tech students. Dr. Tiwari is Fellow member of ISH , ISCA, IAH. He has also associated with several others professional bodies like IAH, ISTE, ISH, ISTAM, IEI, ISRS, etc. Organized several conferences/workshop/short term training programs. He has also delivered several expert talks in the field of Hydraulics and Water Resources in different organizations/ Institute like, WALMI/ IIT/NIT etc. Dr. Tiwari is also reviewer of several International Journals like KSCE (Korea), ISH journal of Hydraulics, Canadian J. of Civil Engg. AJCEA (America), IJCE(Iran), Dam Engg. (UK) etc.
