Dr. Rajshree Kamat is a Senior Assistant Professor in the Department of Architecture & Planning at Maulana Azad National Institute of Technology Bhopal, India, since 29.08.2005. She has an experience of 31 years in the fields related to Architecture and Planning & Development and physical planning like Planning for disaster Prone Areas, Disaster Management, Environmental Planning, Landscape Planning, Urban Design, Urban Studies, Engineering & Technology, Social Sciences, Urban Planning, Regional Planning, Infrastructure Planning, Rural Planning etc. for teaching, Training, Research & Consultancy. She has completed her Ph.D. in the field of Planning for Earthquake and Flood Prone Towns and Disaster Management on 05.05.2010 from the department of Architecture and Planning, MANIT, Bhopal. She is a reputed Architect Planner in the field as well as an excellent academician having brilliant performance always and very hardworking towards the research activities and analysis along with administrative and other opportunities she gets. She has to her credit 50 Research Papers which are published in SCI-Q2, SCOPUS, International & National Journals and International & National Conference Proceedings with renowned International publishers, and 11 Book Chapters & 5 Monographs and 4 books. She has given her services as an Expert at UPSC, New Delhi, Reviewed 4 International Journals. She had been to Belgium, Netherlands, Singapore, Dubai, China, Hong Kong to explore the advances of urban planning and Architecture and other related issues, also to present papers in world renowned international conferences, she has delivered as many as 30 Invited talks as Expert Lectures and conducted many fields Visits outside Institute. She is Member of more than 10 professional bodies. She has been always intensely involved in all aspects imparting Disaster Management Training, research and consultancy to all the stakeholders of the society.
