Dr. Surjit Sen is Head of the Department of Botany at Fakir Chand College, affiliated with the University of Calcutta. He earned his M.Sc. from Darjeeling Government College and Ph.D. from the University of North Bengal. With over 13 years of teaching and research experience, he has published 54+ research papers, 12 book chapters, and three books, and was ranked among the World's Top 5% Scientists in the 2025 SciRank Global Registry.
