 I, myself, have taken the responsibility to introduce Mr Asok, who is my Father. He is a 1971 Batch Graduate Engineer from Banaras Hindu University. By profession he is a Technocrat but Literature is his Passion. The first book in this series is on Language and Grammar,

He has not restricted his writing to the conventional academic parts but has highlighted many interesting aspects.

His Objective here is to generate some interest in Language and Grammar, stressing beyond the limitations of the Curriculum

In Part 1(Language), along with conventional academic parts he has dealt with – Nomenclature, Definition, Evolution, Role of Physiology, Mythological Deliberations, Historical Experiments, Development of Writing Materials, List of Languages in India and the world, Language Movements, Mother Language Day etc.

In Part 2(Grammar) he has started like this:

‘If Language is considered as a Body, Grammar may become its Internal Structure. Grammar is unique to its language and the knowledge of Grammar helps in understanding this Language.’

Here also, in addition to conventional academic parts he has discussed on – Definition, Origin, Evolution from 6th century onwards, History of English as well as Indian Grammar, Importance of Grammar and some Tips on Understanding it.

I agree with his Conclusion when he says:

This small book may come as Handy for the Students as well as the learned Teachers, while discussing Language as well as Grammar.
