Mahima a deck cadet currently in the second year of her B.Sc nautical in Tolani maritime institute. She led a stepping stone to her goal at the tender age of 14 on 04.12.2016 by undergoing her Bharatnatyam Rangapravesha. She has completed the senior grade bharathanatyam examination in first-class distinction conducted by the Karnataka state government in the year 2019.

She was honored with the "Mysuru Prathibha Ratna Prashasthi" in 2016, by the Sneha Sinchana Trust Mysuru. In 2017, she was honored with the "Yuvashri Award" by the "Mysuru Sahitya and Samskruthika Prathishtana' Mysuru. She was honored with the Sadhana Ratna Prashasthi in 2017, by the N.V.S. Creations, Mysuru. She has also been honored with Namm Mysuru Prathibe-2018 award by N.M.P Academy, Mysore. She has been awarded with kannada vikasa ratma prashasti by Karnataka rajya Vokkaliga Vikasa Vedike in 2019. Hoysala Mattu keladi chenamma prashasti was awarded to her by Mahila matuu makalla abhivruddi ilake registered by the government of Karnataka in 2019.
