Son's Feet on the Wanderer Father's Trail is a heartfelt collection of poems that blends personal memories, national pride, and deep human emotions. The book honours the author’s father, Late Mr. G. N. Sharma a visionary, scholar, and poet and carries forward his poetic legacy. From the bravery of Galwan’s soldiers and the arrival of the Rafale jets to reflections on nature, friendship, family, life, pain, and patriotism, each poem is charged with sincerity and lived experience. Written by a doctor who discovered his poetic voice unexpectedly, this anthology is a moving tribute to love, loss, courage, and the enduring bond between father and son.

Dr. P.N. Sharma

Dr. P.N. Sharma is a medical graduate with nearly forty years of professional experience, including two decades in the ICU of Bhilai, Chhattisgarh, where he managed complex and critical cases across multiple specialties. His long career exposed him to profound human suffering, courage, and resilience, shaping his reflective and sensitive outlook. Though he wrote a few juvenile poems during his student days, his true poetic journey began in June 2020, moved by the sacrifice of India’s soldiers in the Galwan Valley. His first poem, “Galwan ke Balwan,” was born from a deep mix of pain and pride. Soon after, inspired by the arrival of the Rafale jets, he wrote his second poem, “Lo Aaa Gaye Rafale,” which received wide appreciation.
