Popy Devi Nath has been working as Director in Centre for Women’s Studies, St. Ann’s College for Women, Mehdipatnam, Hyderabad; and Vice-president in Gandhi National Organization of Sustainable Initiatives for Subalterns (GNOSIS). She did her master degree in Gender Studies and entered in the field of teaching.

She has taught courses on: Gender Sensitization; Human Rights; NGO Management; and Women’s Studies. She has organised various activities related to gender equality and women’s empowerment in collaboration with national, state and private organizations.

She has authored a few research papers in national journal and edited book chapters. She has also delivered invited lectures on Gender Sensitization in different academic institutions.
