‘Research’ as such is cardinal to the development of society. Be it in the arena of pure sciences or the social sector. Albeit, the Indian education system has so far failed to ignite the passion for research in our students. Undeniably, research has never been given its due importance in the curriculum of our education system. For the first time, NEP 2020 (New National Education Policy) holistically emphasizes a systematic research-based ecosystem in the country. Research also enables the students to widen the educational experience, which enables them to explore the effects of applying new thought processes through study and testing. Moreover, it enables them to experience the practical application of your classroom lectures. This book is documentation of the excellent research done by undergraduate and graduate students out of their practical on filed experience by interacting with frontline officials and senior policy makers. The first-hand exposure to the challenges in the social fabric was the key point of their learning. The experience taught them the skill of writing a research paper and gave them a memorable experience of policy advocacy. The purpose of this book is to share the divergent work of incisive research undertaken by young minds to the new perspectives of eminent social issues and policy recommendations.
