The book Soft Skills Made Easy For Students is a collection of important soft skills that students need to understand well in order to excel in their personal as well as professional life. Soft skills are a set of behavioural skills, people skills and life skills. The author has carefully chosen some of the most important skills from these domains. The soft skills mentioned in this book are discussed at length in very lucid language easily intelligible to all categories of students. The main objective behind writing this book is to make the students especially in high school and undergraduate levels understand the importance of this buzz word – ‘Soft Skills’. Each chapter in this book clearly discusses the meaning and importance of one of the key soft skills and also explains how that soft skill is relevant to one’s professional life at his or her workplace. One of the most challenging issues in the recent times is the lack of soft skills in working professionals. Soft skills complement hard skills and helps in bridging the gap between one’s academic journey and a successful work life. The book is in the form of a practical guide for students aspiring to have a successful professional career. Some of the key soft skills elaborated in this book are communication skills, presentation skills, time management skills, stress management skills, to name a few. Acquiring the right set of skills will enable the students to go an extra mile and climb the ladder of success in one’s profession easily. The book has been designed in a student-friendly manner so that an average student can understand the importance of soft skills and can accordingly equip himself or herself with the right set of skills and personal attributes that are in demand for a successful career.
