We are delighted to present the proceedings of the First International Conference on “Transforming Lives Through Adoption of SDGs: Role of Higher Education Institutions (TLASH 2024),” held on May 30-31, 2024, by GD Goenka University, India, in collaboration with the Association of Indian Universities and the Ministry of Education's Institution's Innovation Council. Rahul Pratap Singh

Dr. Rahul Pratap Singh is Professor of Pharmaceutics and Assistant Dean (R&D) at GD Goenka University, with 13+ years of experience in research and academia. His work focuses on advanced drug delivery and translational therapeutics. He is a recipient of the Gandhian Young Technological Innovation Award (2017).

Anjali Midha

Dr. Anjali Midha Sharan is Dean, School of Liberal Arts & Research and Development at GD Goenka University. With over 21 years of academic experience across Indian and international universities, she holds a Ph.D. from University of Delhi and has led institutional development, accreditation, research, and policy initiatives, including Erasmus-funded projects in Psychology.

Prof. Naresh Sharma

Dr. Naresh Sharma, Head, School of Engineering and Sciences, has nearly two decades of experience in teaching, research, and academic administration. His areas of expertise include Simulation of Queueing Models, Machine Learning, Predictive Modeling, Forecasting Technique and Fluid Dynamics. He holds a Ph.D. from Maharshi Dayanand University (India).

Dr. Vikas Jhawat

Dr. Vikas Jhawat is Associate Professor of Pharmaceutics and Assistant Director, IQAC at GD Goenka University, Gurugram, with 12+ years of academic and industry experience. His expertise includes nanotechnology-based drug delivery and chronic disease therapeutics. He has published 65+ papers, held four patents, and received the Young Scientist Award under the Indian Pharmacological Society (2023).

Parvesh Lata

Dr. Parvesh Lata is an Associate Professor of Science Education and Educational Technology expert with 19 years of experience. She has served at Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University and Jamia Millia Islamia. A UGC-NET qualified educator and UGC-IKS Master Trainer, she has earned national awards and contributes to research, MOOCs, editorial work, and ICT-enabled teaching.
