He holds an MBA, MSW, PGDHRM, and other professional qualifications, along with a Ph.D. in Women’s Empowerment. He has worked as an Associate Professor in Social Work and Management for the past ten years. He has also led numerous development projects across India, particularly in the areas of women’s development and Panchayati Raj Institutions, in association with organizations such as German Agro Action, UNICEF, CARE, DFID, the World Bank, and NRLM.

Prof. Shashi Kiran Shetty

Prof. Shashi Kiran Shetty, Associate Professor and Head of Social Work at Acharya Institute of Graduate Studies, Bengaluru, brings eight years of fieldwork and 16 years of academic experience. Sponsored by the UK government in 2014, she collaborated with Kent County Council on issues related to asylum-seeking and at-risk children.
