The poetry collection Solitude and Solace emerged from an intellectually and emotionally enriching journey, offering a sense of purpose and comfort during a time when it was most needed. These poems arose as a response to experiences of displacement and shifting perspectives, reflecting an attempt to grapple with certain deeply puzzling questions. In particular, the characters of Bhishma, Kunti, and Draupadi stirred conflicting thoughts, leaving a lingering sense of incompleteness. Indeed, the idea of creating an anthology of poems inspired by mythological characters has already begun to take firm root.
