Rekha Mohanty

Rekha Mohanty is an alumnus of SCB Medical College, Cuttack, Odisha of 1970-75 batch. Before joining Indian Army, she served in State of Himachal Pradesh Government and Para military Assam Rifles in North East Frontier. She participated in OP VIJAY (Kargil war) in 1999 and OP PARAKRAM (Desert war exercise) in 2000. She is an avid animal and nature lover, travel enthusiast, philanthropist and a die-hard patriot. Her writing extensively brings out to the forefront a deep philosophical and spiritual truth distilled in concise poetry.
